Miami is a city full of style. Some are great, others not so great. Miami has created trends and revived others. Anywhere you look you can see people with style. I don't just mean fashion style, I mean personal style as well. Miami is a city where people are passionate about their beliefs. Maybe it's our diverse culture and our Hispanic influence but people here are passionate. Whether it's the current custody case, who's running for President next election or something as simple as what to wear to dinner on a Saturday night, Miami defines it's own.
The people here break all types of rules. Whether they're battling to keep Elian or send off the 4-year old Cuban girl back to Cuba, the people in Miami are passionate whatever side of the story they stand on. They're confident enough to wear gym cloths out dancing on Saturday night, wear white after Labor Day or go to class in their PJs. The people in Miami dance to their own beat. Everyone here has their own unique style, influenced by culture, by the city, by their upbringing, by politics, by a million other factors. Yet, somehow we all come together when the need arises. Think back to Hurricane Andrew, the city came together like no other.
